The Standing Osiris
The god of the cycle of death and regeneration. Originally a fertility god, later worshipped as ruler and judge of the underworld.
Osiris
holds the crook and flail in the judgement position. He is bound like a mummy and wears the white crown of Upper Egypt with ostrich feathers and cobra.
This statue is one of our exquisite and unique sensitive interpretations of some of the major Egyptian goddesses. They are finely detailed by a very talented sculptor and unlike anything else we have ever seen. Carefuly based upon exisiting paintings and wall sculptures, they are hand cast in a hard wearing material, Jesmonite, then hand finished with colored waxes. A must for the true collector.
