Laxshmi Goddess of Prosperity and Good Fortune
Laxshmi, or Sri, is the Hindu Goddess of love and beauty and the Indian equivalent of Aphrodite, for she was born on a lotus from the churning of the milky sea when her consort Vishnu manifested as a tortoise avatar. She has strong associations with the fall festival of Divali.
Here she is shown offering boons and blessings and holding the lotus flowers.

. She carries a coffer, and gold coins shower from her hand, and she represents the supreme divine principle which pervades all creation with vitality and consciousness. Masculine-Feminine Balance
. Kingly Vishnu, sustainer of order in the world, is depicted in loving association with his spouse Sri Laxshmi, giver of vitality to all living things. Their intimate posture seated together is a micro-depiction of domestic cooperation and joy. A larger symbolism suggests universal harmony as Laxshmi's stupendous power of Shakti activates Vishnu by tickling his feet. The magic serpent Ananta, upon whose body the duo recline, is the embodiment of creative fertility.
